কিছুটা আনুষ্ঠানিক বা পুরোনো ধাঁচের; 'splendid view', 'splendid idea' ইত্যাদিতে সরাসরি ব্যবহার হয়। 'Wonderful' বা 'excellent' অপেক্ষা বেশি জাঁকজমকপূর্ণ অনুভব করায়।
