何かを速く回転させること。糸を紡ぐ、ボールに回転をかける、情報を印象良く伝える意味もある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

物を回転させる「spin the wheel」、スポーツでのスピン（ボールへの回転）、報道や政治で事実を良く見せる意図の「spin」などで使う。めまいを感じるときにも使う。
