他国や組織、人物について秘密裏に情報を集める人たち。通常は政府や軍のために活動するが、広くは誰かをこっそり調査する人にも使われる。

「スパイたち」は「spy」の複数形で、実際のスパイから物語や遊びまで幅広く使われます。真面目な話にも、子どものごっこ遊びにも使われます。
