使う（お金）過ごす（時間）

Definition

お金を支払って物を買ったりサービスを利用したりすること、または何かをするために時間を使うこと。

お金の場合『spend money on ～』、時間の場合『spend time doing ～』の形で使います。他のリソースには通常使いません。

I spend five dollars on lunch every day.

私は毎日ランチに5ドルを**使います**。

They spend a lot of time together.
