Definition

用钱购买东西或付服务费，也指用时间做某事。

'Spend' 可用于金钱（spend money on...）和时间（spend time doing...）。用于金钱时常接 'on'，用于时间时后接动词ing形式或名词。不用于其他资源，如能量。

I spend five dollars on lunch every day.
