দক্ষিণ ও পূর্বের মাঝের দিক; কখনো কখনো এই দিকে অবস্থিত কোনো এলাকা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

বিভিন্ন জায়গা, আবহাওয়া, ও ভূগোল সংক্রান্ত কথায় ব্যবহৃত হয় যেমন 'the southeast corner', 'বাতাস দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব থেকে আসছে'। সাধারণত সংক্ষিপ্ত রূপ 'SE' মানচিত্র বা ঠিকানায় দেখা যায়।
