De forma completa e profunda; geralmente usado para descrever um sono profundo e tranquilo. Também pode significar fazer algo de maneira firme ou segura.

Normalmente usado com 'sleep' ('sleep soundly'). Tom formal ou neutro. Também pode significar fazer algo de maneira completa ('soundly defeated'). Não confundir com 'loudly' (relacionado a volume).
