魂人 (人数)

Definition

魂とは、人の精神や心の深い部分を指し、感情や死後の存在にも関係します。時には「魂」が詩的に「人」を表すこともあります。

主に宗教的や文学的、感情的な場面で使われます。「not a soul」「fifty souls on board」などでは人数を表し、詩的な響きになります。日常では「人」や「者」がよく使われます。
