Definition

力や素早さを使って、突然何かや誰かを取ること。また、機会や勝利などを素早く手に入れる場合にも使う。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

カジュアルな場面で使われやすく、素早さや力強さを含意します。「snatch up」「snatch victory」など決まった表現があります。「catch」とはニュアンスが異なります。
