「snagged」は何かに引っかかったり破れたりする場合、または思いがけず物を手に入れたときに使います。

カジュアルな表現。「snagged my sweater」のように物理的な引っかかりにも、「snagged tickets」のようなラッキーで手に入れる意味にも使います。「snapped」とは異なります。
