"smash" in Portuguese (PT)
Definition
Partir algo violentamente em pedaços, normalmente ao bater com força. Também pode significar atingir, colidir ou derrotar alguém ou algo de forma arrasadora.

Padrões comuns: 'smash a glass', 'smash into a car' e, informalmente, 'smash the test' ou 'smash the record' para dizer que alguém se saiu muito bem. É mais forte e mais violento do que 'break'. No inglês britânico, 'smashing' pode significar excelente, mas isso é outra palavra.
