Pasado de 'smack': golpear a alguien o algo con la mano abierta o un objeto plano, a menudo produciendo un sonido fuerte. También puede referirse a hacer un ruido fuerte de golpe.

Informal, se usa mucho para describir una bofetada, disciplinar a niños o un golpe seco con la mano abierta. También puede usarse para un sonido fuerte, como “the ball smacked the wall”. No se usa para golpes con el puño.
