Passado de 'smack': bater em alguém ou algo com a mão aberta ou objeto plano, geralmente produzindo um som forte. Também pode significar fazer um barulho alto de batida.

Informal; usado para tapas no rosto, castigo de criança ou batida com mão aberta. Também pode descrever som forte ('the ball smacked the wall'). Não se usa para socos com punho.
