「Slot」指的是用來插入物品的狹縫或開口，或指專門預留的時間段，有時也指一種賭博機器（拉霸機）。

在科技領域如「記憶體插槽」、「卡片插槽」。排程時「time slot」指指定時段。賭博場合稱「slot machine」為拉霸機。不要與表示空隙的「gap」搞混。
