Definition
スラブとは、石やコンクリート、木材などの大きくて厚い平たい板を指します。また、食べ物などの厚い一切れにも使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「concrete slab」で建築材料、「chocolate slab」では厚い食べ物の一枚を指します。薄いものには「シート」や「パネル」を使います。可算名詞です。
