都市の建物や自然の景観が空に描く輪郭やシルエットのこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に高層ビルがある都市景観を指し、'city skyline'や'famous skyline'の表現が使われます。田舎や建物がない自然風景にはあまり使いません。
