O céu é o espaço que você vê acima da terra, onde as nuvens se movem e onde aparecem o sol, a lua e as estrelas. Também pode se referir ao tempo ou ao aspecto do ar.

Normalmente se usa com artigo: 'the sky' é muito mais comum do que 'sky' sozinho. Combinações comuns: 'blue sky', 'night sky', 'clear sky' e 'in the sky'. Em linguagem poética ou dramática, 'the skies' pode se referir aos céus ou ao tempo.
