"sizzle" in Korean
Definition
음식이 뜨거운 기름이나 팬에서 요리될 때 나는 '지글지글' 소리. 비유적으로 무언가가 매우 흥분되거나 활기찬 상태를 표현할 때도 사용함.
Usage Notes (Korean)
주로 요리할 때 사용하며('the bacon sizzled in the pan'), 분위기가 굉장히 활기찼을 때도 비유적으로 사용된다('the show really sizzled'). 약하거나 배경음에는 쓰지 않는다.
