一種發出高音警告聲的裝置,常用於緊急車輛或危險警報。“Sirens” 也可以指古希臘神話中以歌聲誘惑水手的海妖。

最常指緊急車輛(如救護車、警車)的警報聲或災害警報。神話義通常只見於文學或隱喻用法。多用複數形式。勿與鬧鐘(alarm)混淆。
