「sinks」は物が水中などに沈む（動詞三人称単数）、またはキッチンや洗面所の「流し台」の複数形（名詞）を表します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
動詞の場合「The boat sinks」＝沈む、名詞の場合「There are two sinks」＝流し台が二つ、となります。「syncs」とは全く意味が違います。
