Definition

物の表面が少しだけ焼けて黒くなった状態ですが、完全に燃えてしまったわけではありません。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

髪や紙、布の端などがうっかり少し焼けた時によく使います。完全に焦げた場合は使いません。
