「side」的複數。通常表示某物的兩側或外部邊緣，也可以指爭論中的不同立場，或主餐旁邊搭配的小菜。

最常見的是表示物體的位置，如 "both sides", "on the sides", "side by side"。在討論中，"both sides" 表示對立的兩方觀點。在餐廳裡，"sides" 在美式英語中常指主餐旁邊的小配菜。不要和 "site" 或 "sight" 混淆。
