Definition

サイドバーとは、画面やウェブページ、ドキュメントの横にある縦長のエリアやパネルで、ナビゲーションや追加情報の表示に使われます。また、新聞や雑誌の記事の横にある短い記事も指します。

コンピューターやウェブではナビゲーションやツール表示によく使い、『sidebarメニュー』とも言います。新聞や雑誌では短い関連記事を指します。日常会話ではあまり使われません。
