Definition

帶狀皰疹是由水痘病毒再度活化所引起的疼痛性皮疹。通常以一側身體呈帶狀水泡的型態出現。

'帶狀皰疹'僅用於醫學語境，指病毒引起的皮膚病。常見說法有「得了帶狀皰疹」、「帶狀皰疹疫苗」。不要混淆其他意思。
