すね

Definition

膝と足首の間にある、脚の前側の部分や骨のこと。

医療用語にも日常会話にも使い、例えば「すねをぶつけた」のように使います。「skin（皮膚）」とは意味が異なります。

She hurt her shin on the table.

彼女はテーブルに**すね**をぶつけた。

My shin is bruised from playing soccer.
