Definition

‘Shebang’ কথাটি সাধারণত সম্পূর্ণ কিছু বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়, অর্থাৎ সবকিছু বা সকল অংশ। কম্পিউটারের ভাষায়, এটি স্ক্রিপ্ট ফাইলের শুরুতে থাকা ‘#!’ চিহ্ন বোঝায়।

‘the whole shebang’ বা ‘the shebang’ কথাটি সাধারণ কথোপকথনে মজা করে বলা হয়। কম্পিউটারে ‘shebang’ মূলত ‘#!’ চিহ্ন বোঝায় এবং এটি ইউনিক্স স্ক্রিপ্টে ব্যবহৃত হয়। অফিসিয়াল লেখায় এই শব্দটি এড়িয়ে চলা ভালো।
