サメは海に住む大型の魚で、鋭い歯を持っています。危険な種類もいますが、多くは人間に害を与えません。

一般的には海の動物を指しますが、比喩的にずる賢い人ややり手にも使われます（例: カードサメ）。'shark attack'などの表現があります。
