Sentencing é o processo em que o juiz determina oficialmente a punição para alguém considerado culpado de um crime.

Usado principalmente em contextos jurídicos, especialmente em direito penal. 'Sentencing' refere-se ao momento da imposição da pena, não ao julgamento todo. Costuma aparecer em 'sentencing hearing' (audiência de sentença) e 'awaiting sentencing' (aguardando sentença). Não confunda com 'sentence' de gramática.
