Definition

「席」は座るための場所や椅子、電車や劇場などの座席を指します。また、議会などの地位にも使われます。

「take a seat」は「おかけください」、「window seat」は「窓側の席」。席を予約する場合は「席を予約する」と言います。議会などでは「席」は地位を意味します。
