彫刻は、石や金属、木、その他の素材を彫って形作った立体的な芸術作品です。像やオブジェなど、さまざまな創造的な形があります。

「彫刻」は個々の作品にも、芸術分野自体にも使います。「ブロンズ彫刻」「パブリックアートの彫刻」などと結びつく表現が多いです。「像」は主に人物・動物の姿を表します。
