Definition

솔이나 천, 스펀지 등으로 강하게 문질러 때나 얼룩을 없애는 것. 세게 닦아서 청소하는 경우에 주로 사용함.

대체로 힘이 많이 필요한 청소에 사용하며, 'scrubbing the floor', 'scrubbing pots'와 같이 쓴다. 'wiping'처럼 가볍지 않고, 섬세한 물건에는 잘 쓰지 않는다.
