Definition

鋭いものやざらざらしたもので表面や皮膚についた小さく浅い傷や跡。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'scratch'の複数形で、主に肌や物の表面（家具、車、スクリーンなど）にできる複数の浅い傷を表します。'cat scratches' や 'scratches on the table' のように使います。深い傷には使いません。
