何かの小さな一部や不要になった残り物。特に金属や紙の廃材、またはスラングでけんかを意味することもある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「scrap metal」は廃鉄という意味。「scrap」は口語で喧嘩や小競り合いも指す（主にイギリス英語）。「scrap of paper」は紙切れ。「scraps」と間違えないように。
