スコッチは主にスコットランド産のウイスキーを指します。場所によっては透明なテープ（セロハンテープ）を指すこともあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

ウイスキーの場合は大文字で使い、「a scotch」「Scotch whisky」という形で表現します。テープの場合はブランド名として話し言葉で使われます。人に対して（スコットランド人）使いません。
