Definition

一種中間連接著兩片鋒利刀刃的工具，用來剪紙、頭髮、布料和其他較薄的材料。在英語裡，它的形式是複數，通常和複數動詞連用。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

要說 'scissors are'，不能說 'scissors is'。即使只指一把剪刀，英語裡通常也用複數形式，例如 'Where are my scissors?' 如果要計數或更具體，可以說 'a pair of scissors'。常見搭配有：'cut with scissors'、'kitchen scissors'、'nail scissors'、'paper scissors'。
