어떤 일이나 행사를 특정 시간이나 날짜에 하기로 미리 정해놓은 상태를 말합니다. 주로 일정표나 계획표에 있는 일에 사용됩니다.

주로 'is scheduled for~', 'is scheduled to~'처럼 쓰이며, 'planned'보다 더 공식적입니다. 업무, 학교, 여행 등에서 많이 사용됩니다. 'busy', 'booked'와는 달리 일정표에 정해져 있음을 뜻합니다.

The meeting is scheduled for Friday morning.

회의는 금요일 아침에 **예정되어 있습니다**.

Our train is scheduled to leave at 6:30.
