特定の日時に行うと前もって決められていること。会議や授業、交通機関など、スケジュールに載っている物事に使います。

「is scheduled for ...」や「is scheduled to ...」のように主語の後で使うのが一般的です。'planned' よりフォーマルで、仕事や学校、公式の場面でよく使います。「忙しい」や「予約済み」とは違い、単にスケジュールに載ったものを指します。

The meeting is scheduled for Friday morning.

会議は金曜日の朝に**予定されています**。

Our train is scheduled to leave at 6:30.
