Definition

छोटी, सपाट तश्तरी जिसे आमतौर पर कप के नीचे रखा जाता है ताकि टेबल पर दाग न लगे। कभी-कभी छोटे स्नैक्स या दूसरे छोटे सामान रखने के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होती है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'saucer' का बहुवचन है। आमतौर पर चाय या कॉफी के कप के नीचे रखा जाता है। 'plate' (बड़ा) या 'dish' (गहरा) से अलग है। 'flying saucer' अलग संदर्भ में UFO के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है।
