Definition

正常な思考や行動ができる、精神的に健康な状態を指します。

ややフォーマルな表現です。「insane（狂気）」の反対語。比喩的に「a sane approach（合理的な考え方）」としても使います。身体的な健康には使いません。

She is completely sane and can make her own decisions.
