Definition
重さや年齢、支えが足りないことで真ん中がたわんだり、たるんだりすること。または、活力や気力がなくなる様子。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主にロープや棚、屋根、肌など物理的なものに使われますが、姿勢や気持ちにも使われます。「sagging roof」や「sag under the weight」などの表現が一般的です。
