意図的に何かを壊したり機能しないようにしたりして、目的を妨げる行為。利得や抗議のために行われることが多いです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

ビジネスやスポーツなど幅広い場面で使われる。'commit sabotage'や'industrial sabotage'は「妨害工作をする」という意味。 'vandalize'は単なる破壊行為の意味もあるので混同しないようにしましょう。
