Definition

किसी झुंड में सबसे छोटा या कमज़ोर जानवर, खासकर एक साथ जन्मे बच्चों में। यह बहुत छोटे या कमज़ोर इंसान के लिए भी अपमानजनक रूप से बोला जा सकता है।

जनवरों के लिए सामान्य, लेकिन इंसानों के लिए अपमानजनक माना जाता है। 'the runt of the litter' जानवरों के लिए आम वाक्यांश है। किसी व्यक्ति के लिए 'runt' कहना पर मज़ाक या खास संदर्भ चाहिए।
