「roughed」は物をざらざらにしたり、誰かに乱暴に扱ったりする意味です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「roughed up」のような決まった表現でよく使います。肉体的にも比喩的にも乱暴に扱う場合に使われます。単独ではあまり使いません。形容詞の「rough」とは異なります。
