仕事や活動、スポーツなどで経験が浅い、新しく入った人たちのこと。スポーツや職場、軍隊などでよく使われます。

主にスポーツや職場、軍隊などで使われるカジュアルな表現です。複数の新人をまとめて言うときによく使われ、時には親しみや冗談を込めて使われますが、未熟さを示すこともあります。
