「roll」の過去形・過去分詞。物が回転しながら動いたり、何かを丸めたり、なめらかに進行したことを表します。

用法は状況によって異なる。「坂を転がった」「紙を丸めた」「計画をスタートした」など様々に使います。口語では「rolled in」で「遅れて着いた」なども意味します。

The ball rolled under the table.
