ローブガウン

Definition

ローブは、体全体を覆うゆったりとした衣服です。儀式や伝統的な長い服、あるいは家で着るバスローブや部屋着のことも指します。

家庭内やお風呂あとのものは「ガウン」、式典や王・裁判官なら「ローブ」を使います。「バスローブ」「裁判官のローブ」など場面で使い分けます。

She put on a white robe after her shower.
