人や場所、店などから、力や脅しによって違法にお金や物を取ること。「rob」の進行形。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

『rob』は人や場所に使い、「rob a bank」「rob an old man」のように用います。物に対しては『steal（steal money）』を使います。「robbing」は進行形や「rob someone of something」の表現でよく使われます。
