強盗とは、力や脅しを使って人や場所から物を奪う人のことです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「強盗」は暴力や脅迫で盗む人。「泥棒（thief）」はこっそり盗む人、「空き巣（burglar）」は家などに侵入して盗む人。『銀行強盗』や『武装強盗』などで使います。
