體型較小的棕色或黑色昆蟲，經常出現在髒亂或潮濕的地方，被許多人認為是害蟲。

通常指蟑螂，是家庭常見的害蟲。不要和單數“roach”或俚語的意思（煙蒂）混淆。講羣體時常用複數。
