川

Definition

川は、土地の上を流れていて、通常は湖や海、または別の川に注ぐ自然の水の流れです。

「川」は大きな自然の水の流れに使います。小さいものは「小川」や「用水路」と呼ばれます。「川を渡る」「川岸」「川の水」などの表現でよく使われます。

The river is very wide here.
